Project Life: Weeks 16 & 17

Last week was a crazy busy week! I did not even get to blog, yet alone link up on The Mom Creative Blog. So here I am combining the past 2 weeks. For week 16, I used a line from Simple Stories. It was called Vintage Bliss. I bought a few new lines I had found at a Scrapbook Expo in PA I had attended. Since I rarely scrap 12 x 12 anymore, and we have not ONE Scrapbook Store in our area I find it hard to by any new lines. But this one aught my eye. I hand journaled my week. I have not done this in 2 years with Project Life! It was a bit weird at first, but I loved the "vintagey" feel of the pages. I had to cut their journal cards down just a smidgen. But their date cards are a perfect 4 x 6. On the personal side, I have been working on Heidi Swapp's Memory File Adventure. that is probably the main reason I didn't blog last week. With a full time job, 3 children, the crafty time is limited! But I am in love with this project! So if you get a chance, hop on over to Heid's blog and check her out!

Week 17 might just be one of my favorites, in terms of core kit selection. I am so CRAZY about the Honey collection!!! It is by far my absolute favorite. I love the colors & the style...I love everything about it. It is a happy collection & reflects my mood this week. I had an awesome week, considering my allergies were out of control! As you can see by my Thursday post : (
On Tuesday, my daughter Paulina had her 5th grade class trip to Washington DC, where my sister lives. So she met us there for a bit.  On Wednesday we had a great family day at the Morris Arboretum in Chestnut Hill....gorgeous! So basically this week rocked, as did my choice in color selection. I may just have to stick with the Honey collection for  a few more weeks!

    1. Thanks! I haven't hand written hardly any journal cards. I got use to seeing the streamline look of printing out my journal cards. But I do love the look of handwritten cards, they look so much more personal! Thanks for checking out my blog!
