30 Days of Thankful: Week Two

OK, I am officially lovin' this project...whoo hoo! Two weeks and going strong. I didn't even have time to write a Project Life post, oops. Next Tuesday, promise. If you are just joining me and want to know more about this project of 30 Days of Thankful go here. Cathy is pretty awesome. This week I choose some things that were "deep" and a few that were not. It is whatever the day brings. With this project I am NOT forcing myself to "think" of something creative to write about or photograph. On a few pictures I had to search my archives. For me, this project is what I am thankful for that particular day...no pressure. That is why some things are a bit more serious than others. I think at the end of the month I will do a short video on the completed book. Anywhoo, here is the second week, days 8 through14. Enjoy : )

My Kids having good grades...thank God they do NOT take after their mother : )

 The seasons...so pretty!
My house. Here is the example of a picture that is years old.

My hobbies!

My Blentec..swoon!

Sunsets...corny, I know.

Starbucks...need I say more?

I will be linked up with the every so funny & talented Cathy Z. Check her out here!

  1. Hello, so happy to see your thankful pictures today! I can relate to the first one, my kids are so much better at school then me. The sunset one is not corny at all, I take them almost daily, it's my way of ending the day and thanking god for all he gave me. I do the same each morning with the sunrise, so thankful for each day I have.
I really liked what you said in the beginning thoughts, it really is what you want to make of this month and project. I like being serious and fun with it, hoping for a perfect balance by the end. I'm really trying to keep it to one picture a day too, this one is hard to do but so far it's good.
Thanks for sharing this week, looking forward to next weeks. Have a great day!

  3. Your photos and journaling are so nice, this is going to be a real keepsake at the end of the month. Like you, I love the simplicity of this project and am just taking it as it comes - no pressure. I smiled at your last page because I have coffee on my list this week too!

  4. Couldn't agree with you more on the hobbies - and I've got my home on my list of things to document this month. For many of the same reasons as you! Great pages this week. See you again next week!

  5. Wonderful things to be thankful for. I have been approaching the project the same way some pictures are current and some are not. I really enjoy the ease of being able to just throw my picture in the slot, add my journaling and call the page done!

  6. Great week of thankfulness! I love seeing your pretty albums and your minis. I love that summer collection by Simple Stories. I will have to check out your YouTube channel, I love to play videos while scrapping...although sometimes it makes me quit what I'm doing and change over to make something like the videos I'm inspired by!
