The week of July 28th through August 3rd, I used the Blush Edition. Since August is the busiest month around our house, I didn't embellish or decorate too much. And if you notice there are a few day that do not even have journaling. But the pictures are printed and the stories WILL be told : ) I did find time for some sketching that week. I was really trying to practice my eyes. I used my olloclip for a few close ups. that really helped with the iris. Here are a few pictures.
The week of August 4th through the 10th I used the Rain Edition. This is the first time I am using this edition. I thought I would use it for spring. For some reason the green, blue, purple color palette reminds me of springtime. But I was surprised to find that the palette works for any time of year. I really love the change! It is not my normal colors I would choose. But the cool tones suited the week and I love the overall look of the layout!
Once again, nothing fancy. This is why I LOVE Project Life. I get those memories in, even on those weeks where I don't have time for the creative "stuff". I did use a button from A Flair for Buttons. I love her buttons on Etsy! So many to choose from!
This was ay favorite week of the year so far!! We took a week long vacation to Cape May and stayed at a house that was absolutely gorgeous!!! I used (to my surprise) The 5th & Frolic Edition. This is an exclusive from Michaels. I had NO intention on getting this at all! But once I saw it....whew, that was all she wrote! I love the soft colors...once again, sooooo not me! I love vivid, bright, rainbow colors! But this suited my beach pages perfectly. See, this is why I have over 10 editions! It all depends on the pictures and the mood for the week : ) FYI, I can justify ANY PL purchase, lol! Anywho, here is a look at last week. I journaled very lightly, only because I am making an intense album of the week with almost 200 pictures. But I did want to document the week for Project Life. I am still debating on the format for the album. Once the pictures arrive from Shutterfly I will decide.
My favorite picture of my husband with the girls! |
We searched for shells and other treasures. We boogie boarded, got stung by jelly fish, visited with lots of family. We ate funnel cake, cheese fries & ice cream! We watched sunsets that tok our breath away! We made memories that will last a lifetime!
